Matt Harvey made his MLB debut last night for the Mets.

His line: 5.1 IP 3 H 0 R 0 ER 3 BB 11 SO. 

The 11 strikeouts are a new team record by a Mets starter making their debut. 

He also added two hits at the plate including a double off D-Backs’ starter Wade Miley. 

Congrats to to Matt Harvey and the Mets!

With his fastball reaching 97 MPH and his nasty slider, the future certainly looks bright for this young right-hander.
